20th century sex education

I can honestly say that I giggled like a schoolgirl the entire way through creating this work. 'And the man pulls a special lever and then all the babies come out!'

new work!

hey all! apologies in my extreme lack of posting - i am currently sitting in piles of boxes and crap, as kent and i are moving at the end of the month to go travelling (woohoo!) - what with getting married, christmas, working a LOT and moving, it is (sadly) leaving little time and space for making - aaaargh!!

though the upside of this is the downscaling of studio-matter, meaning that things are more quickly clarified which is nice - hopefully more visual treats to come very soon!

'tis the season

work in progress (maybe)

I'm still working on a back ground (maybe) for this creature, who has been created from collage. I think it is using it's tears / eye-beard as thread ... to sew what, remains to be told.

new work!

  sold

very similar to a work i made for a c3 show i was involved in from about a year back - unfortunately that work didn't fit into the scanner and then it (fortunately) sold before i could get a proper image of it!

*on hold*

and the walls became the world all around

i don't know how this one slipped through the cracks - it is one of my favourites, made last year for part of the series 'and the walls became the world all around'; i share it with you now!

Approx 23.8 x 15 cm, collage on found image.

p.s. apologies for the piece of thread in front of the image - it is late at night (for me anyway) and my scanner is slow, my computer slower. There was all kinds of schlepp on the scanner bed, i am choosing not to care right this minute - one day i might re-scan it for you all!
