laser sneeze

this little guy is so small (5 x 6.5 cm) that i couldn't scan him without losing the quality of the image and the gold, so apologies for it being a wee bit darker than my regular scans - at least this way you get the sparkly goodness of the gold in it!

other dimensions.

Finally, we find out where the rabbit ended up from it's encounter with mama rabbit in july 2009. Poor little bugger has been floating around the ether for over a year! (or at least in a tiny zip lock bag.

this work is approx 12.7 x 10.7 cm.

very similar to a work i made for a c3 show i was involved in from about a year back - unfortunately that work didn't fit into the scanner and then it (fortunately) sold before i could get a proper image of it!

look what came in the mail!

recently I conducted an art swap with the lovely tai snaith - you may find the man below familiar, he is, as we have said, the man to my woman. I also snapped up this cute and wonderful piece 'the enormous shadow', which i simply had to have. You can see more of Tai's work on her website. Thanks Tai! xxx

This was my plan for having a wall of scissors, all shapes and sizes - a pair for every occasion!

and the walls became the world all around

i don't know how this one slipped through the cracks - it is one of my favourites, made last year for part of the series 'and the walls became the world all around'; i share it with you now!

Approx 23.8 x 15 cm, collage on found image.

p.s. apologies for the piece of thread in front of the image - it is late at night (for me anyway) and my scanner is slow, my computer slower. There was all kinds of schlepp on the scanner bed, i am choosing not to care right this minute - one day i might re-scan it for you all!

this is one of my earlier attempts at milly-molly-mandy (my favourit-ist of all my favourite story book characters). This story always made me happy because i always wanted to play shop too (and now i do :s ) and Miss Muggins' shop always seemed so much fun - what with the sweets, fabric and string and lots of other useful things!
